TalkFest: THE HATE U GIVE

TalkFest

A meeting space to establish a dialogue around a topic and provoke an exchange of views between cultures. The idea is to bring together native speakers and advanced learners of English to discuss issues that are relevant and build bridges between communities and cultures.

There will be a team leading the sessions, but everyone is encouraged to participate.
Groups will be reduced.

The Hate U Give

Based on Angie Thomas’  novel of the same name, The Hate U Give portrays the ways in which institutional racism and police misconduct make everyday life an extraordinary challenge for many African-American families. It is also a powerful depiction of a young woman discovering her own political agency at a time when many societal forces conspire to strip her of it.

Available on Disney+, Apple TV, Rakuten TV, Prime Video and Google Play
