TalkFest
A meeting space to establish a dialogue around a topic and provoke an exchange of views between cultures. The idea is to bring together native speakers and advanced learners of English to discuss issues that are relevant and build bridges between communities and cultures.
There will be a team leading the sessions, but everyone is encouraged to participate.
Groups will be reduced.
THE FALLOUT
The Fallout is about the way in which Vada, a 16-year-old high school student, and her friends navigate the emotional trauma caused by a school shooting. Director Megan Park chooses to focus not on the perpetrator or the shooting itself but on the way in which the characters deal with their grief, how they try to make sense of the experience, the effect it has on their relationships and how it changes them.
