WHO ARE WE?
EducationUSA is an official U.S. State Department network of more than 425 academic advising centers serving international students in more than 175 countries. In Spain, we offer our services in person and virtually from our offices in Madrid and Barcelona.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
Academic advising and up-to-date, accurate and unbiased information about the U.S. higher education system and the wide variety of higher education opportunities at accredited institutions in the U.S.
WHO ARE OUR SERVICES FOR?
Both students and families, as well as school counselors, teachers, and staff. In addition, we facilitate contact between U.S. higher education institutions and students in Spain through events such as fairs and information sessions.
HOW MUCH DO THESE SERVICES COST?
All of our basic services are free.

Basic Services
Basic services are always free of cost for students and schools.
FOR STUDENTS AND FAMILIES
- Information sessions: Monthly online sessions introducing the basic steps to study in the U.S. Additional monthly sessions on specific topics with representatives from U.S. colleges and universities.
- Events: Monthly in-person workshops on various aspects of the application process for U.S. colleges and universities. Yearly university fairs.
- Competitive College Club (CCC): Highly selective cohort program for high school students, which accepts a limited number of students annually to advise throughout bachillerato to prepare their applications for admission to U.S. colleges and universities.
- Individual advising: Students can also contact us directly with any questions via email or in-person meetings.
FOR SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS
- Visits to schools: Face-to-face or virtual presentations on studying in the US.
- Meetings with counselors or directorial teams for advice on our services and how to best support students applying to U.S. colleges and universities.
- Support in sending academic documents to U.S. colleges and universities and creating the “school profile”, a required document for students applying to degree programs in the U.S.
- Support and suggestions for writing letters of recommendation, required from teachers of students applying to U.S. colleges and universities.
