This website and all its content, including the texts, images, sounds and any other material, are the property of the INSTITUTE OF NORTH AMERICAN STUDIES FOUNDATION or third parties that have authorized the INSTITUTE OF NORTH AMERICAN STUDIES FOUNDATION to use this content.
However, in accordance with the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection, the INSTITUTE OF NORTH AMERICAN STUDIES FOUNDATION informs the user that the data included in the forms of this website will be included in an automated file of personal data for the purpose of the maintenance and management of information requesters that have gained access through the electronic form on this website.
The use of the aforementioned forms, as well as sending an email, implies the consent of the sender to automated processing of the data included in the file under the responsibility of the INSTITUTE OF NORTH AMERICAN STUDIES FOUNDATION. This data will not be transferred to third parties and, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the PDPL, rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition to personal data processing may be exercised through email contact to ien@ien.es.

Principles applied in data processing
When processing your personal data, the holder must apply the following principles which comply with the requirements of the new European data protection regulations:
Principle of lawfulness, fairness and transparency: The holder will always require consent to process your personal data which may be for one or several specific purposes that you will be informed of in advance with complete transparency.
Principle of data minimization: The holder will only ask you for the data strictly necessary for the purpose or purposes for which the request is made.
Principle of storage limitation: Data will be stored for as long as is strictly necessary for the processing purpose or purposes. The holder will inform you of the corresponding storage period depending on the purpose. In the case of subscriptions, the holder will periodically revise the lists and delete the registrations that have been inactive for a considerable length of time.
Principle of integrity and confidentiality: Your data will be processed in a way that ensures its safety, confidentiality and integrity. The holder will take the necessary precautions to avoid unauthorized access and improper use of the data of its users.

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, opposition, limitation and portability, and not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing.
